- For the final year of the Tri-Fives, Chevrolet designers added an exclamation point to the already-popular full-size 1955 and 1956 Chevy Bel Air. The swept lines became longer, the fins grew larger, and the front grill was nothing short of bold...and GOLD. The 1957 Chevy Bel Air became one of the most recognizable cars in the entire car industry. In fact, it became an icon of an entire era. Over 65 years later, there are few things more quintessentially American than baseball, mom’s apple pie, or a 1957 Chevy Bel Air. The 1957 Bel Air was only available with a V8. Only two carbureted versions were offered initially_ a 162hp dual-barrel or a 180hp four-barrel. Later in the year, a larger 283 V8 was released, also with a four-barrel carb, making 220hp. The ultimate option was the rare and expensive fuel-injected 283 shared with the Corvette making 283hp. These were dubbed “fuelies”.

Yenko Chevrolet was a dealership from 1949 to 1982 that gained a reputation for custom-built high-performance muscle cars. Beginning with the Corvair, they progressed into the Nova, Camaro, Chevelle, and Vega muscle car market. By 1969, with the help of GM’s COPO (Central Office Production Order) system, the cars Yenko ordered had the desired L-72 427ci engines factory-installed. Today, Yenko-built vehicles are some of the most sought-after and highly-desirable muscle cars ever made.
- This Auto World die-cast is an exact 1_18 replica of a fully-documented 1967 Yenko Chevy Camaro. This car was a part of the historic Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Yenko display back in 2012 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. This highly-detailed 1_18 die-cast replica is painted in factory-matched Ermine White with black striping. Newly-tooled components include the RS front end with hidden headlights, rear valance, and lower rocker trim. - One of just five known 1969 Dick "Mr. Chevrolet" Harrell COPO Camaros, this Glacier Blue COPO Camaro built on June 30, 1969, is the only example with three signature Harrell modifications_ an American Racing Products rear spoiler, contrasting wide stripe on the cowl-induction hood and matching stripes on the doors and quarter panels. The car was factory built to COPO 9561 specifications, which called for the MO-suffix L72 427 CI V-8 engine, CX-code 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic 3-speed transmission and BE-code 12-bolt rear end.
