- Brand new 1/18 scale diecast car model of 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS 396 Hugger Orange die cast model car by Autoworld.
- Limited edition.
- Brand new box.
- Real rubber tires.
- Steerable wheels.
- Opening doors and hood.
- Officially licensed product.
- Accurate interior and chassis.
- Made of diecast with some plastic parts.
- Detailed interior, exterior and engine compartment.
- Dimensions approximately L-10.25, W-4, H-2.75 inches.
- No longer under the Chevy® II umbrella, 1970 was a continuation of the Chevy® Nova™ legacy established a year earlier. To this day, it is still one of the smallest muscle cars to ever come out of Detroit. The Super Sport™ trim package continued into 1970, but it was the last year for the powerful SS™ 396 engine option producing 375hp. If the 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic 400 wasn’t optioned, buyers could choose the beefier 4-speed manual “Rock Crusher” M-22 transmission. The “Rock Crusher” name was coined from the very specific whine it made when switching gears. There were only minimal exterior changes in 1970, including slight adjustments to the side marker and tail lights.

- From Boise, Idaho, Doug Yoder of Red Lion, Pennsylvania was excited about his '57 Chevy 3100 Stepside, internet find. After much research, he began his six month restoration journey. The '57 Chevy Stepside was mostly intact but it didn't run. Doug first tackled the renovations by sandblasting, knocking out rust and fixing dents. Then he coated everything with epoxy primer, a high-build primer, four coats of urethane base paint, including four coats of clear. The chassis was stripped to bare metal and refinished as well as a new front suspension and steering with four-speed transmission, axle, and newly wired engine. Its interior was also refinished to its original beauty. There is no wonder AACA Central Spring Nationals in Auburn, Indiana, rewarded it First Junior status, in spring of 2017. Auto World is proud to replicate, for the first time, this 1/18 scale '57 Chevy® 3100 Stepside in Ocean Green and Bombay Ivory.

- In many ways, the 1950s were the golden age for General Motors, and the middle of the decade ushered in a renaissance for Chevy. Times were good in Detroit, and they were willing to take risks on new projects. Enter the design for a new luxury truck, based on the all-new Task Force trucks. Rather than a bare-bones utilitarian work vehicle, the Cameo added luxury trim, decorative body accents, and interior comforts. Carpeting, a two-tone dash and bench seat, and a radio were radical to see in the cab of a truck in the mid 1950s. As a result, pickup trucks started to become a dual-purpose vehicle that had head-turning styling on America’s highways, as well as enough grit to get the job done if put to the test. The Chevy Cameo helped mold future generations of pickups into the comfortable, yet capable vehicles we expect today.
